This is the Help Overview page for S.mon - Service Management Online.
We can differentiate two menu types:
Top Menu (grey)
Sub Menu (yellow)
The help for the individual commands are described in the tables below.
In the following table you can find the help description for "Top Menu" commands:

Description |
| New Ticket |
Allows you to submit a new ticket.
If you can submit tickets in many products you will
be prompted for a product you will submit a ticket in.

| Tickets |
Shows a list with tickets you are working on and the classification for the different tickets types. |
| Statistics |
The statistics shows you information about tickets for a given time period and for the one of the different criterions. |
| User Settings |
Shows and allows settings of user preferences (UI language, after login page, change password etc.). |
| Administration |
Shows you the administration page (user, product and customer administration).
This command is only visible for administrator. |
| Login / Logout |
Login of a user with username and password.
If you are logged in you have the possibility to logout using the top menu command "Logout : <username>".
After logout your session will be destroyed
on the server and you will be redirected to the Login page.
After some time of inactivity your session will be destroyed
automatically. The inactivity time is configurable on the server.
The default value is set to 20 minutes. |

| Number Search |
Allows you to search by ticket number. The words you look for should be entered in lower case.
To start the search please press the GO-Button. |
| Title Search |
Allows you to search by ticket title. The words you look for should be entered in lower case.
In your search string you can use following wildcards:
| '%' or '*' |
For any char sequence |
| '_' or '?' |
For exactly one char |
To start the search please press the GO-Button. |
| Full Text Search |
Allows you to perform a fulltext search. The words you look for should be entered in lower case.
In your search string you can use following wildcards:
| '%' or '*' |
For any char sequence |
| '_' or '?' |
For exactly one char |
To start the search please press the GO-Button.

| Advanced Search |
Allows you to perform a advanced search by using each desired ticket field which should be included in search operation. |
| Other Fields |
Additionally the most frequented help commands are always displayed below the search functions in the Sub Menu.
